1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Jonathan Muñoz ("Provider", "we", "us") governing your use of the Puzzle Snap mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App. You represent that you are at least 16 years of age. If you are under 16, you may not use the App.
2. Description of Services
Puzzle Snap is a jigsaw puzzle game that provides the following services: - Daily puzzle challenges with scoring and star ratings - Curated puzzle collections across various themes - A global leaderboard displaying player rankings - Profile customization (display name and avatar) The App is available in two tiers: - Free tier: Full access to gameplay with advertisements displayed by Google AdMob. - Premium tier: An optional subscription that removes all advertisements and may unlock additional features. The Provider reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time, including the availability of specific puzzles, collections, or features, without prior notice or liability.
3. User Accounts
3.1. The App offers three sign-in methods: Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and anonymous accounts. Anonymous accounts require no personal information. 3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The Provider is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account. 3.3. You may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the leaderboard, replay daily puzzles, or gain any unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate termination. 3.4. Anonymous accounts that have been inactive for more than 60 days may be deleted along with all associated data without prior notice.
4. Leaderboard & Display Name
4.1. By using the App, you acknowledge that your display name, profile avatar, and game scores are publicly visible to all users through the global leaderboard. 4.2. You are solely responsible for the display name you choose. Display names must not contain offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate content. The Provider reserves the right to reset or modify any display name that violates this provision without prior notice. 4.3. The Provider may remove or reset leaderboard entries that are determined to have been achieved through exploitation of bugs, manipulation, or any form of cheating.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
5.1. Premium subscriptions are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you also agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases. 5.2. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. 5.3. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. The Provider does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds. 5.4. The Provider reserves the right to modify subscription pricing. Any price changes will apply to the next billing cycle following the change and will be communicated in advance through the App Store.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: - Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App - Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App - Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for personal advantage, including but not limited to leaderboard manipulation or daily puzzle replay exploits - Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or any form of automation to interact with the App - Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data - Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All content within the App, including but not limited to puzzle images, artwork, game design, user interface, animations, sounds, and underlying source code, is the exclusive property of the Provider or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. 7.2. The Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. 7.3. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content within the App without the prior written consent of the Provider.
8. Termination
8.1. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting your account from the Profile tab or by uninstalling the App. 8.2. The Provider may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive behavior. 8.3. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any active subscription must be cancelled separately through the App Store to avoid further charges. 8.4. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and governing law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
9.1. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 9.2. The Provider does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. The Provider does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any content within the App. 9.3. The Provider reserves the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that may result in temporary unavailability of the App or specific features.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of game progress, loss of subscription benefits, or loss of leaderboard standings. 10.2. In no event shall the Provider's total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid to the Provider in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ten euros (€10), whichever is greater. 10.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
11.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. 11.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain. 11.3. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via an app update. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. The date of the last revision is indicated at the top of this page.
