Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Jonathan Muñoz ("we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Puzzle Snap. By using the app, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
1. General Terms
1.1. This Policy constitutes an integral part of the End User License Agreement (EULA) for Puzzle Snap. By downloading and using the app, you fully accept the terms outlined in this Policy. 1.2. The methods for processing Personal Information include collection, recording, storage, updating, use, transfer, deletion, and destruction, with or without automated facilities. 1.3. Terms from the EULA and other agreements with the User are applicable unless explicitly stated otherwise in this Policy.
2. Data We Collect
Account & Authentication: - Email address, display name, and profile photo (when signing in with Google or Apple) - A unique user identifier (Firebase UID) - Anonymous accounts collect no personal information Game Progress & Profile: - Puzzles completed, scores, star ratings, streaks, and completion times - Display name and profile avatar (visible to other users on the leaderboard) Device & Usage: - Device model, OS version, language, and app usage events - IP address and Advertising Identifier (IDFA), only with your consent via App Tracking Transparency Purchases: - Subscription status and purchase receipts, processed by RevenueCat - We do not have access to your payment method or billing details
2. Third-Party Services
Puzzle Snap uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy: - Firebase (authentication, data storage, analytics): https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy - Google AdMob (advertising for free-tier users): https://policies.google.com/privacy - RevenueCat (subscription management): https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries outside the EEA. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
4. Advertising & Tracking
Free-tier users see ads served by Google AdMob. Before collecting your IDFA, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT). If you decline, ads will not be personalized. Premium subscribers do not see ads. However, the advertising SDK may still collect basic device information. You can manage tracking at any time in your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
5. Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app: 1. Go to the Profile tab 2. Tap "Delete Account" 3. Confirm the deletion This permanently removes your account, game progress, and leaderboard entry from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is automatically removed from our servers. Anonymous accounts that have been inactive for more than 60 days may be deleted along with all associated data. Third-party services may have their own retention policies as described in their respective privacy policies.
7. Children's Privacy
Puzzle Snap is intended for users over the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Puzzle Snap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
